Personal Statement
My work contemplates personal experiences, often involving absence, solitude or longing. I present the incandescence of everyday subjects, their enticing textures and tones, and the stillness that surrounds them.
Moments are distilled, allowed to float outside of time. Here, borders between ordinary and exceptional, abstract and representational, become porous.
